Photography gives what I see a voice

Family and Wedding Photographer

Meeting people is the best part of what I do. I see subtle things about each person that makes them special. Crafting images that represent them is what motivates me.

Husband, father, son, and brother in a tight-knit family. Didn’t go to college, choosing instead to serve in the United States Army. My face is weathered from spending my life outdoors, especially by the sea.

Favorite city is Paris. I could easily spend days on end strolling the 6th arr, and visiting Musée du Louvre.

Inspiration

Besides the dozen or so classic film cameras on my bookshelf, you’ll find books with images made by the photographers I am inspired by – Robert DoisneauElliott ErwittVivian Maier, and others. I keep them an arms length away so whenever I take a break from editing I can get lost in the stories their images tell.

Inspired by my dad, an amazing photographer, who always captured family moments, telling our story on slide film. He gave me his 35mm rangefinder when I was fourteen, and I proceeded to shoot, develop, and print the shots that I made on Kodak Tri-X B&W film. From that time forward, a film camera has always been near at hand to document life.

I’d really love the opportunity to tell your story in a way that will hopefully bring years of wonderful memories.
